POSITION VACANCY – Public Health Supervisor
Horizon Public Health is seeking applications for a Public Health Supervisor for a newly acquired grant program, Healthy Families America© (HFA). This program will provide family home visiting services for the 10 counties served by Horizon Public Health and Countryside Public Health.
Under the guidance of administration this position will be responsible for all aspects of establishing a new program including: hiring, supervising and training professional staff, developing policies and procedures along with accreditation documents, overseeing grant work plan and budget, data maintenance and quality assurance planning, collaborating with community and state partners and developing and leading outreach efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, or related field and three to five years of public health related experience, preferably including public health supervision. Familiarity with family home visiting beneficial. Successful applicant must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test.
