WIC – Women, Infants and Children

 

Are you interested in providing healthy food options to your family? The WIC program is a Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding program that helps eligible pregnant women, new mothers, babies and young children eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy.

The WIC program also provides:

  • individualized nutrition education and counseling
  • vouchers to purchase nutritious foods from local grocery stores
  • referrals to health care and other services.

WIC Serves:

Women: Pregnant, Breastfeeding or Postpartum mothers
Infants: up to one year of age
Children: ages One  to FIVE !

 

 

You may qualify for WIC if you fit into one of the above categories and meet program requirements. It’s as easy as that!
