Child Care Center Consultation

It is a state requirement that all day care providers have a Child Care Health Consultant (CCHC). Horizon Public Health offers Child Care Health Consultation services to Licensed Child Care Centers in Douglas, Grant, Pope, Stevens, and Traverse Counties.

The role of the CCHC is to promote the health and development of children, families and staff and to ensure a healthy and safe child care environment. This can be accomplished through consultation, training, resource information, referral, and technical assistance.
