Horizon Public Health partners with accredited educational institutions to provide Public Health observations and experiences for qualified students. Please complete the Student Rotation Interest form to help us determine our capacity to accept your specific academic request.   Please email the completed form to Connie Bullock, PHN.

Hospice of Douglas County, A Division of Horizon Public Health, has the following opportunities:

*Part-time25-30 hours/week benefits available depending on hours scheduled, will include weekend rotation
*Casual to include year round, as well as summer only option, may include weekend rotation

Will provide a wide array of personal cares and other supportive services for hospice patients and their families.  Must have valid MN driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation. Minimum qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.  Preferred qualifications: Experience in hospice or with the geriatric population.   Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test. This is a Grade 2 MNA/AFSCME Council #65 union position, Step 1 $15.03/hour. Monday-Friday daytime hours as well as weekend rotation.
